The company Carousel was founded in 2013, the idea behind Carousel was simple; to create a beautiful space in the form of an art cafe with cozy interiors, warm lights, freshly brewed coffee and happy people. A place where pretty home decor products would come to life.

Carousel had just partnered with its first retail outlet-partner , Qirq Station, to start selling their products. They were looking for an effective packaging solution that would be budget friendly, stand out and could quickly be brought into production.

Namma Bengaluru: Board Game Design

Namma Bengaluru is a tile laying strategy based game conceptualised by Dice Toy Labs. At Dice Toy Labs their mission is to make board games that are both nostalgic and intelligent. Their products are generally equal in addition to being equally engaging to both kids and adults. They are proudly made in India and look at introducing their strategic board games to the Indian market.

The concept for Namma Bengaluru was to look at creating a nostalgic tile laying game for fellow Bangaloreans and those being introduced to the city for thr first time! The illustrations featured the iconic Vidhana Soudha, Cubbon Park, the bustling business centres and the fresh produce markets of KR Market. A total of 26 illustrations was created for the game. All keeping in mind how the visual would pan out when laid together and seen from a top view, almost a satellite view of the city alone. The centre piece to this game is the 3D cardboard model of Vidhana Soudha, which stands on the centre tile.

Chai Garam: Board Game Illustration

At Dice Toy Labs their mission is to make board games that are both nostalgic and intelligent. Their products are generally equal in addition to being equally engaging to both kids and adults. They are proudly made in India and look at introducing their strategic board games to the Indian market.
My role with the game Chai Garama was to illustrate the main board on which the cards would lie. The main board illustration comprises of quintessential elemts found at a Mela. For instance, water tanks, plastic stools, pigeons, rangoli (floor art), stacks of snacks on tables and so on.
